Programs have the option of sending surveys when applicants are invited to interview or after they have been invited. In the steps below, we will review how to send a survey to an applicant after they have already been invited.

NOTE: All surveys can be sent at any time throughout the recruitment season. We strongly suggest that the Post-Interview and Post-Match surveys are sent separately from the Pre-Interview Surveys after the interview or Match is complete.
Send Survey to Applicants
After an applicant has been invited, they may be sent a survey.
- Navigate to the "Applicants" page from the upper menu at the top
- Click the checkbox or “Select All” applicants that the survey should be sent to
Alternatively, you can select the 3 dots action button next to an individual applicant and select “Send Survey” to one applicant at a time. - Click the “Action” button
- Select “Send Survey”
- The Send Survey modal will open where you will click the dropdown for “Select surveys to send"
- Select the checkbox next to any surveys that should be sent.
NOTE: All surveys can be sent at any time throughout the recruitment season. We strongly suggest that the Post-Interview and Post-Match surveys are sent separately of the Pre-Interview Surveys after the Interview or Match has completed. - The "Send to # applicants" button will display the number of applicants selected to receive the survey. Click the Send button to send; select Cancel if you no longer wish to send the surveys.
- A confirmation message will appear in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
- Once the applicant has been sent a survey, they will receive a notification informing them of the survey and/or if any changes have been made to one that has been sent to them previously.

Applicants may access their survey questions by clicking on the event on their Thalamus Calendar and selecting the link “Edit Survey Answers" or by toggling to the dashboard and viewing them in the Survey section.
