Applicant vs Program Associated Role Accounts within Thalamus

Individuals may have accessed Thalamus as an applicant and later obtained access again as an interviewer within a specific program.

In these instances, you will access to multiple accounts that will function differently.

Applicant Account

Upon receipt of your invitation from a program you will receive an email with a unique link that will allow you to create your Thalamus account. Should you have used Thalamus in the past and have an account the email will state that you have an account and provide details on which email address it is linked to.

Applicant accounts only allow individuals to sign up and conduct their interviews.

How to access your applicant account

  1. Navigate to the Thalamus website via link https://app.thalamusgme.com/

  2. Enter the email address associated with your ERAS application, then select “Next”

  3. On the next page you will enter your password and select “Verify”

  4. You will now be logged into your account.

Program Associated Role Account

A program associated role account allows you to interview applicants, enter notes/scores and view interview itineraries.
