Understanding Aggregate Scores

Learn how Scoring Aggregation combines Scorecards and Competencies into your program's Cortex Application Score, Core Interview Score, and Overall Score Score.

1. What is Score Aggregation?

Scoring Aggregation lets your program's score managers customize how the Cortex Application Score, Core Interview Score, and Overall Score are calculated.

  • Cortex Application Score: Calculated from Scorecards in Cortex. You can customize how each one is weighted. The Cortex Application Score does not affect rank position

  • Core Interview Score: Calculated from Scorecards in Core. You can customize how each one is weighted. The Core Interview Score does not affect rank position.

  • Overall Score: The Overall Score determines an applicant's position on your default Rank List. You can choose whether the Overall Score is calculated from Scorecards or Competencies. This choice only affects how the Overall Score is calculated. It does not affect how data is collected or reviewed. You can also customize how each component of the Overall Score is weighted.
