Score an Applicant: Dashboard, My Schedule, Video - Thalamus Holistic Review

This guide will provide instruction on how to enter scores and quick notes for applicants from multiple places within Thalamus including the:

  1. Applicant Dashboard
  2. My Schedule page
  3. Thalamus Video

Note: At the bottom of the guide are instructions from Score Managers (Program Directors, Program Administrators and Program Coordinators)

Scoring an Applicant from the Applicant Dashboard

  1. From the Applicant dashboard, use the search bar, filters or other selection criteria to locate the applicant to be scored. Then select the 3-dot menu and scroll to "Score Applicant".
  2. This will open the score card and it automatically open to the "Core Scorecards" tab. Note: the width of the score drawer can adjust by hovering your mouse over the left pane of the drawer and dragging as desired. 
  3. Select the specific score card you will want to use in order to score the applicant. INTERVIEWERS: Consult with your program to determine which score card you should use.
  4. Once you have selected the score card as indicated by your program, you will add the score details. 

  5. At the completion of adding all score details, click "Submit". Note: If this action is not taken, the score will not save and will show as "In process". While in edit state (in progress) the values on this scorecard are excluded from the aggregate scores (Overall Score, Interview Score and Cortex Application Score.)

 

Scoring an Applicant from the My Schedule page

1. From the My Schedule Page select "Score"

2. Select the specific score card you will want to use in order to score the applicant. INTERVIEWERS: Consult with your program to determine which score card you should use. Note: the width of the score drawer can adjust by hovering your mouse over the left pane of the drawer and dragging as desired. 

3. Once you have selected the score card as indicated by your program, you will add the score details. 

4. At the completion of adding all score details, click "Submit". Note: If this action is not taken, the score will not save and will show as "In process". While in edit state (in progress) the values on this scorecard are excluded from the aggregate scores (Overall Score, Interview Score and Cortex Application Score.)

5. If scoring an applicant from a group session, click the "Score" button in that session.

6. Select the name of the applicant you want to score from the populated menu.

7. Follow the steps outlined above to enter the applicant score.

Scoring an Applicant from Thalamus Video Chat

1.From Thalamus Video Chat select "Score"

2. Select the specific score card you will want to use in order to score the applicant. Note: the width of the score drawer can adjust by hovering your mouse over the left pane of the drawer and dragging as desired. INTERVIEWERS: Consult with your program to determine which score card you should use.

3. Once you have selected the score card as indicated by your program, you will add the score details.

5. If scoring an applicant from a group session, click the "Add Score" button at the top of the screen.

Scoring and Management for Score Managers

Note: The Overall Score tab is only available to Score Managers (PD, APD, PC, PA). Unlike the Cortex Score and Interview Score, the Overall Score can be an aggregate of selected scorecards or competencies. Reviewer competencies or scorecards “roll-up” to create the applicant’s Overall Score.

Submitting an Overall Score on behalf of another user as a Score Manager

1. Select the Score Card and then select program reviewer by clicking the drop down arrow.

2. Complete the score and select the submit button.

 

Viewing Overall Score as a Score Manager

  1. To view the overall score, select the 3-dot menu next to the applicant name.

  2. Select “Score Applicant” from the corresponding menu.

  3. In the drawer, select the “Overall Score” tab.

  4. Select the aggregate score you wish to view.
