  1. Deleting a Question from a competency (workaround)
  2. Deleting a Competency
  3. Removing a Question from a scorecard
  4. Deleting a Scorecard (work around)

Deleting a Question from a competency (workaround)

At this time, questions cannot be deleted from competencies. However, there is a workaround for this if your program would like to remove a question from a competency. Please note- If your program does not want the question to appear within competencies currently being used. We recommend creating a "DO NOT USE" competency to move any unwanted questions into.

  1. From the Competencies & Questions tab. Locate the competency that contains the questions and select the drop down arrow.

  2. Once the drop down arrow has been selected. Select the 3-dot icon next to the question you wish to remove.

  3. Once the 3 dots have been selected. Select "Move question to another competency".

  4. Select the competency for which the question will be moved into.

  5. Once the competency has been selected, select the "Move Question" button.

Deleting a Competency

Please note, a competency with questions cannot be deleted. The question must be moved into another competency before the competency can be deleted.

Deleting Competency

  1. From the Competencies & Questions tab. Locate the competency and select the trashcan icon.

  2. A notification will appear confirming the competency has been deleted.

Removing a Question from a scorecard

Questions may be removed and added to this scorecard at any time. Any existing response to a question will be hidden and excluded from rolled up scores when the question is removed from a scorecard. Restoring a question to a scorecard that has responses will restore the response values. Adding new questions will cause submitted scorecards to become un-submitted.

  1. From the Scorecards tabs, locate the scorecard you would like to edit and select the pencil paper icon.

  2. Once the pencil paper icon has been selected. Select the "Manage Questions" button.

  3. From the "Select Questions" tab. Deselect the question your program would like removed from the scorecard.

  4. Select "Save Changes" at the bottom of the screen.

Deleting a Scorecard (work around)

At this time Scorecards cannot be deleted completely in Thalamus. However, there is a workaround that will remove the scorecard from appearing as an option for your program interviewers.

  1. From the Scorecards tab, locate the scorecard your program would like to remove and select the pencil and paper icon.

  2. Locate the "Scorecard to be used in" section and use the drop-down menu to select "None". Selecting None will prevent the scorecard from appearing from within the score drawer.
