The Cortex Sandbox is a safe, isolated environment designed for testing. The Sandbox allows programs to experiment with features and configurations without affecting the Live Cortex environment (the production environment).
Note: The Cortex Sandbox is a testing environment. It does not impact real applicants in the LIVE Cortex environment. ALL applicant information displayed, such as names, photos, and applications are FAKE.
Logging into Cortex Sandbox
- Select the drop-down arrow next to your profile
- From your program profile drop-down, select "Cortex Sandbox"
Cortex Sandbox Data
The data listed below can be synced into the Cortex Sandbox environment from the program's Live Cortex environment.
- Filters
- Competencies
- Questions
- Scorecards
- Blinders
- Applicant Index
- Keywords
- Document permissions
This enables programs to leverage existing configurations without needing to recreate them in the Sandbox. For example, if a program wants to test a scorecard, programs can sync the scorecard from the Live environment into the Cortex Sandbox for testing.
Please note: The data from the Cortex Sandbox environment cannot currently be exported to the live Cortex, Core or Cerebellum environments.
How to Sync Cortex Live data to the Cortex Sandbox:
- Navigate to the "Applications" Page
- Select "Sync Cortex Live"
- Select "Confirm" to move your settings from Cortex Live to your Sandbox program. The latest settings in Live will be added to Sandbox, and any settings modified in both programs will be set to the live version
