Yes. Tracks and tiers are types of scheduling permissions that are unique to Thalamus.
They are both part of our patented scheduling algorithm that allows programs to reserve spots for particular groups and/or subgroups of applicants (e.g. categorical, primary care, advanced, preliminary, research, etc.), and ensure that the proper applicant mix is present for any interview event/day.
For equal scheduling permissions across all applicants, programs can use one track and one tier.
For more sophisticated or complex scheduling practices, multiple tracks and tiers can be used.
