Withdraw from a program's consideration within Thalamus.
1. Withdraw from a Program on Web
| Important: We highly recommend reaching out to any program that you are withdrawing from to confirm your withdrawal, particularly if you are already scheduled for an interview day with that program. You may only withdraw from a program if you have not completed any interview events, including social events, with that program. |
- From your applicant dashboard, locate the Interviews or Social Events section. This lists all programs that have invited you to an event through Thalamus
- Find the program you'd like to withdraw from, and select the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of that program's row
- From the menu, select Withdraw from program
4. A Withdraw from program confirmation window will appear
5. Review the program name and the terms of withdrawal
By confirming, you agree that:
- You decline to interview with this program
- You decline to be considered to match at this program
- If you change your mind, you agree to be reinstated at the sole discretion of the program
6. In the text field, type Withdraw to confirm, then select Withdraw
Note: Once you have withdrawn from a program, this cannot be undone from your dashboard or calendar. If you have withdrawn from a program by mistake, please reach out to the program directly. They may be able to remove your withdrawal from their program. |
2. Withdraw from a Program on Mobile
- Select an Interview or Social Event from your list or calendar for the program you'd like to withdraw from
- Select View program
- Click the 3-dot Menu and select Withdraw from program
- A Withdraw from program confirmation window will appear
- Review the program name and the terms of withdrawal, type Withdraw in the text field to confirm, then select Withdraw
