Navigating the Applicant Dashboard on the Mobile App

Navigate your interviews, invitations, surveys, and upcoming sessions from your dashboard on the Thalamus mobile app.

1. What is the Applicant Dashboard?

The Applicant Dashboard is your central hub for managing all recruitment activity in the Thalamus mobile app. From one screen, you can review interview invitations, track upcoming Events, complete Surveys, and access details for your next session — without navigating to separate pages.

Using a web browser instead? See the Navigating the Applicant Dashboard — Web guide for the full web experience.

2. Navigating the Mobile App

A navigation bar at the bottom of the screen provides quick access to the app's primary sections from anywhere in the app.

3. Dashboard overview

Your Dashboard is your central hub for the mobile app. You can scroll down to access all activity sections from one screen.

The dashboard is organized in the following order:

Dashboard Section Description
Next Session

Highlights the next upcoming session with a published itinerary.

Invitations

Displays pending interview invitations from programs.

Interview Events
View all interview-related activity and statuses.
Social Events

Review upcoming and completed social sessions.

Surveys

Complete assigned surveys and track completion status.

Note: Program Acknowledgements are not available in the mobile experience at this time.

4. Next session

The Next Session component highlights your next upcoming session with a published itinerary. This is the first section visible when opening the dashboard.

This section displays:

  • Session type and program name

  • Event date and time

  • A Join session button for virtual interviews

  • A View meeting details link for additional session information

5. Invites

The Invites section displays pending interview invitations received from programs. You can review invitation details and schedule available interview sessions directly from the mobile app.

A New badge appears on the most recently received invitation, helping you quickly identify the latest program to extend an invitation.

6. Interview Events

The Interview Events section displays all interview-related activity including scheduled, waitlisted, and completed events. Each event displays the event type, date and time, and where the interview is taking place, virtually or in-person.

Event cards use visual indicators to help you quickly understand the status and availability of each interview event.

Indicator Description
Blue card Border with Checkmark
The event is scheduled. The checkmark confirms you have secured a spot for this interview.
Left-panel Color Bar

Displays the program's assigned color for quick visual identification across events. Covering entire left side indicates an interview event. Color indicated only on the title indicates a social event.

Green Spot Counter

Indicates 4 or more spots remaining for this event.

Yellow Spot Counter

Indicates 3 or fewer spots remaining for this event.

Red Spot Counter
Indicates no spots remaining. The event is full.
Clock Icon
You are on the waitlist for this event.

A scheduling conflict indicator (⚠️) appears next to an interview date and time when two or more scheduled events overlap. This indicator is informational and does not prevent scheduling.

Note: The scheduling conflict indicator does not automatically resolve or cancel conflicting events. Please review any conflicts and contact the relevant programs directly if assistance is needed.

7. Social Events

The Social Events section provides visibility into upcoming and completed social sessions associated with interview activities, including scheduled and waitlisted events. Each event displays the event type, date and time, and where the session is taking place, virtually or in-person.

8. Surveys

The Surveys section displays surveys assigned by programs and tracks their completion status. You can identify surveys that require action using the Pending tab and review previously completed surveys in the Completed tab.

Each survey card displays the survey name, program name, associated event, and survey type. Programs may configure surveys as Anonymous or Non-anonymous. When available, the survey type is displayed on the survey card. A Partially complete status appears for surveys that have been saved but not yet submitted.

Available actions on the Pending tab include:

  • Start — begin a new survey

  • Resume — continue a previously saved survey

Submitted surveys are moved to the Completed tab. Depending on how the survey was configured, you may be able to:

  • View previously submitted responses

  • Edit and resubmit an updated survey
