Use the Thalamus Mobile App to to manage Interviews and stay connected throughout the recruitment season.
1. Sign in to the Mobile App
| The Thalamus Mobile App is available in the Apple Store and Google Play. Before signing in, make sure you have downloaded the most recent version of the app. |
- Open the Thalamus Mobile App
- Enter the email address and password associated with your Thalamus account
- Select Sign In
After signing in, you'll be taken to the Dashboard. Tap the options in the bottom navigation menu to navigate to other areas of the app.
2. Navigate the main menu
The main menu provides quick access to the primary features available in the Thalamus Mobile App.

| Dashboard | View invites, manage Interview and social events, complete surveys and acknowledgement packages assigned by programs. |
| Calendar | Schedule Interviews, join waitlists, confirm social events, and add/manage personal events. |
| Account | View and update your profile information and manage app settings, including biometric login. Access Help Center articles and contact Thalamus Support. |
| Schedules | View event itineraries, meeting details, join events or access virtual session links |
| Log Out | Sign out of the mobile app. |
3. View your Calendar
The Calendar provides a centralized view of your Interview schedule and recruitment activities.
From the Calendar, you can:
- Manage scheduled events
- Browse available Interview dates
- Monitor waitlisted Interviews
- View program social events
You can switch between list and calendar views and select an event to view additional details.
| Tip: If expected Interview dates are not displayed, review your active Calendar filters and clear any unnecessary selections. |
4. Update your profile
Keep your profile information current throughout the recruitment season.
- Select Profile
- Select Edit
- Update your information
- Select Update Profile
You can update information including:
- Profile photo
- Home airport
- Name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Address
- Specialty
- Medical school
- Medical degree
5. Enable biometric login
Biometric login allows you to sign in using your device's supported authentication method, such as facial recognition.
- Open the Mobile App and Log in
- Select Account
- Enable the toggle to Use Face ID to Log in
- Follow the prompts on your device
6. Access virtual Interview information
Select Schedule to access your Interview itinerary and virtual Interview links.
On the day of your Interview, you'll be able to review your schedule and join virtual Interview sessions directly from the app.

7. Complete Program Surveys
Programs may assign surveys through Thalamus.
- Tap Dashboard in the mobile app navigation menu
- Locate a survey and click Start
- Complete the survey
- Select Submit when you're ready to send your responses
Need more time?
Select Save for Later to save your progress without submitting the survey.
| Note: Program surveys may also be accessible directly from a program event or Interview invitation. |
You can return at any time to Resume a survey and submit it.
8. Switch Roles
If your account includes multiple roles:
- Open the Mobile App and Log in.
- Choose the program or role you'd like to use.
9. Manage mobile notifications
Notification preferences are managed through the desktop version of Thalamus.
Refer to How to Enable Mobile Notifications for instructions.

10. Log out
To sign out of the Thalamus Mobile app:
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation menu.
- Select Log out.
- Confirm you wish to Log out or Cancel to stay signed in to your account.

| Can I manage Interviews using the mobile app? | Yes. You can view Interview invitations, schedule Interviews, access itineraries, complete surveys, and manage Interview-related activities directly from the app. |
| Will changes sync between the mobile app and web version? | Yes. Changes made in the mobile app automatically sync with your Thalamus account and will be reflected when you access Thalamus from a web browser. |
| Can I join virtual Interviews from the mobile app? | Yes. When available, Interview itineraries and virtual Interview links can be accessed from the Calendar event details or Schedule section. |
| Can I save a survey and finish it later? | Yes. Select Save for Later to save your progress without submitting your responses. You can Resume the survey and submit when you're ready. |
| Why can't I see a scheduled Interview? | Review your Calendar filters and verify that the Interview has been successfully scheduled. If necessary, clear any active filters and refresh the Calendar. |
| I forgot my password. What should I do? | Use the Forgot Password option on the sign-in screen to reset your password. |
