Logging into your Thalamus Applicant Account

For applicants with an AAMC ID, upon registering for MyERAS with your MyERAS account token, you will receive an email from Thalamus with a Thalamus account token instructing you to finalize your Thalamus Applicant Account. This process is described here: Creating your Thalamus Applicant Profile.

For applicants without an AAMC ID, you will receive a Thalamus account token when you receive an invitation from a program, please see Finalizing your Thalamus Applicant Account (non-MyERAS).

  1. From the upper menu bar on the Thalamus homepage (www.thalamusgme.com), select Login. From the drop down you will want to select Thalamus. This will navigate you to the Thalamus log in page, https://app.thalamusgme.com/

  2. Enter your E-mail address and click "Next" OR you may log in using either your Thalamus login credentials or your AAMC login credentials. To log in using your AAMC credentials, click the "Sign in with AAMC Account button, which will direct you to the OneAAMC page. From the OneAAMC log in page, enter your log in credentials and then you will be redirected back to

  3. This will navigate to the next page, where you will be prompted to enter your Password, then you want to click Verify. You will then be logged in your account. 


Trouble Accessing Your Account?

  1. Should you have any issues accessing your account, please select the “Unlock account?” link to access the steps to reset your password, and review our guide Recovering your Forgotten Password.

  2. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Once you have entered your email address, you will be prompted to select "Select". You will then be prompted to select "Send me and email". A password reset email will be sent to you. Please note, if you do not receive an email via the email address you entered it is possible your account is associated with an alternate email address.

Logging Out

  1. If you would like to log yourself out, select your "user profile" icon on the upper right-hand corner of the page. 

  2. From the drop-down menu, select the "Logout" button.
