Logging into your Thalamus Applicant Account

Log in to your Thalamus Applicant Account, reset your password if needed, and log out when you are finished.


1. Before logging in

How you receive your Thalamus account token depends on whether you have an AAMC ID.

Applicants with an AAMC ID

  • After you register for MyERAS using your MyERAS account token, you will receive an email from Thalamus with a Thalamus account token.

  • Use that token to finish setting up your Thalamus Applicant Account.

Applicants without an AAMC ID

  • You will receive a Thalamus account token after a program sends you an invitation.

  • For more details, see Finalizing your Thalamus Applicant Account (non-MyERAS).


2. Log in to Thalamus

  1. Go to the Thalamus homepage: www.thalamusgme.com.
  2. Select Login from the upper menu bar.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select Thalamus.
  4. You will be taken to the Thalamus login page: https://app.thalamusgme.com/.
  5. Enter your email address.
  6. Select Sign In.
  7. On the next page, enter your password.
  8. Select Sign In again.

You will now be logged in to your Thalamus account.


3. Log in with your AAMC account

You may also log in using your AAMC credentials.

Note: Use this option only if your Thalamus account is connected to your AAMC account.
  1. Go to the Thalamus login page: https://app.thalamusgme.com/.
  2. Select Sign in with AAMC Account.
  3. You will be taken to the OneAAMC login page.
  4. Enter your AAMC login credentials.
  5. After signing in, you will be redirected back to Thalamus.
     

 


4. Trouble accessing your account

If you cannot log in, you can reset your password. For more details, see Recovering your Forgotten Password.

  1. From the Thalamus login page, select Forgot Password.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Select Select.
  4. Select Send me an email.
  5. Check your inbox for the password reset email.
    .      

Important: If you do not receive a password reset email, your Thalamus account may be connected to a different email address.

6. Log out of Thalamus

When you are finished using Thalamus, you can log out of your account.

  1. Select your user profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select Logout.
  3. A confirmation message will appear asking if you want to log out of all Thalamus products.
  4. Select Yes to finish logging out.

You are now logged out of your Thalamus account.
