Log in to Thalamus Core, access affiliated products and programs, manage account access, and securely log out of the platform.
- In order to sign into an account, the account must first be created in Thalamus Core.
- Program Administrators can create additional faculty and staff accounts. For more information, visit the Create and Manage Program User Accounts guide.
- Applicants should refer to the Logging into your Thalamus Applicant Account guide.

1. Log in to your Thalamus account
From the upper menu bar on the Thalamus homepage (www.thalamusgme.com), select Login. From the drop-down select Thalamus.
On the login page, sign in using either:
- AAMC credentials by selecting Sign in with AAMC Account
- Thalamus credentials by entering your email address and password
Log in using AAMC credentials
On the login page select Sign in with AAMC Account.
From the OneAAMC Sign In page, enter your AAMC credentials and you will be redirected back to Thalamus.
Log in using Thalamus credentials
To log in directly from Thalamus using your Thalamus credentials, enter your email address and click Sign In to navigate to the next page. Enter your password and click Sign In.
Signing into multiple programs
If you are affiliated with multiple programs, you can select the program you want to access. You can later toggle your program access throughout your user profile (see Navigating between programs, below).
Forgotten password / password recovery
Should you have any issues accessing your account, enter your email address and click Sign In, then select Forgot password on the password prompt screen.
On the email verification page, click Send email to receive the password reset email.
| Note: For applicant users, the default email address associated with your account is the email address used to submit your MyERAS application. |
If you do not receive the Forgot password email, your account may be associated with a different email address. For additional assistance, contact Thalamus Support using the teal Help button on the login screen.
2. Accessing Cortex or Cerebellum
- Select the user profile drop-down in the upper-right corner.
- Select the product you would like to access.
- A new browser window will open where you can select the program you want to view
3. Navigating between programs
Select the user profile icon in the upper-right corner.

From the drop-down menu, select the program you would like to view. At any point you are able to toggle your program access by visiting the user profile.
4. Logging out
Select the user profile icon in the upper-right corner.

From the drop-down menu, select the button to Log out.
When logging out of Thalamus, a confirmation message will appear asking if you would like to continue logging out of all Thalamus products.
If you select the Don’t show this message again checkbox, this confirmation message will not appear during future logouts on that browser/device. Select Yes to continue logging out, or Cancel to remain signed in.
