Logging in, Logging Out, Changing the Account and Program of in Thalamus

Accounts must first be created in Thalamus.  If you are a primary user on your account, Thalamus customer success will create the initial account(s) for you and provide login information. If you are an ERAS program, users with an account in PDWS will automatically have an account created in Thalamus. Additional accounts may be created by program administrators for the remainder of your faculty and staff.  Visit our Managing Program User Accounts guide for more information. If you are an Applicant, visit our Logging into your Thalamus Applicant Account guide.

 

Please note: ERAS programs can log into Thalamus directly from the PDWS

Logging into your Thalamus Account

  1. From the upper menu bar on the Thalamus homepage (www.thalamusgme.com), select Login. From the drop down you will want to select Thalamus. This will navigate you to the Thalamus log in page, https://app.thalamusgme.com/

  2. From here you may log in using either your Thalamus login credentials or your AAMC login credentials. To log in using your AAMC credentials, click the "Sign in with AAMC Account button, which will direct you to the OneAAMC page. From the OneAAMC log in page, enter your log in credentials and then you will be redirected back to Thalamus.                       
  3. To log in directly from Thalamus, using your Thalamus credentials, enter your E-mail address and click "Next". 
  4. This will navigate to the next page, where you will be prompted to enter your Password, then you want to click Verify.


  5. If you are affiliated with multiple programs, you will be given the opportunity at log in to choose the program you want to access. You can later toggle your program access throughout your user profile. 

  6. Should you have any issues accessing your account, please select "Unlock account?".
  7. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Once you have entered your email address, you will be prompted to select "Select". You will then be prompted to select "Send me and email". A password reset email will be sent to you. Please note, if you do not receive an email via the email address you entered it is possible your account is associated with an alternate email address.

Accessing Cortex or Cerebellum

  1. If you are affiliated with a Cortex or Cerebellum account, you can now access your accounts directly in Thalamus. 

  2. Select your "user profile" icon on the upper right-hand corner of the page. 

  3. From the drop-down menu, select the account you would like to view.

  4. Once you select the account, a new window will open with the account you selected.

  5. Navigate to the new window and a drop menu box will appear on the screen allowing you to select the program you wish to view.

Navigating Between Programs

  1. If you are affiliated with multiple programs, you can access your other programs directly in Thalamus. 

  2. Select your "user profile" icon on the upper right-hand corner of the page. 

  3. From the drop-down menu, select the program you would like to view. At any point you are able to toggle your program access by visiting the user profile. 

Logging Out

  1. If you would like to log yourself out, select your "user profile" icon on the upper right-hand corner of the page. 

  2. From the drop-down menu, select the button to "logout".
